The straw spout is made from food grade silicone. It is a soft mouthpiece that has a 5mm diameter opening that allows for thinner type foods like purees, plain yogurts, and rice cereals. Great for thickened liquids.
It is interchangeable with the original spout that comes with The Baby Food Bottle. One size fits all.

I purchased 2 of these food bottles. They work quite well; however, after my first use of one of them, one piece broke (I truly don't know how) and it has rendered the piece useless. I emailed customer service 10 days ago asking if there was a way to get a replacement part. I haven't received a single response.
